Dr. Herman is a published expert in treating patients after weight loss. He is the editor of the one of the first textbooks in the field, Encyclopedia of Body Sculpting After Massive Weight Loss (Thieme Publishers, 2011), which is in many libraries and medical schools around the world and won a book award from the prestigious British Medical Association. Dr. Herman has lectured around the world on the subject of plastic surgery after weight loss, including weight loss from medications, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve and gastric banding. His textbooks have been translated into multiple languages including Spanish and Chinese.
